Kanu Chauhan is a multi-talented artist — singer, music composer, and lyricist. Kanu Chauhan is an emerging independent artist known for blending soulful, emotion-driven music with warmth, depth, and cinematic expression.

My journey as a musician has been shaped by determination and resilience. Growing up in India, I faced significant cultural and societal barriers. As a girl, I was discouraged from pursuing music professionally. Despite these challenges, I remained committed to my passion for song writing and music, continuing to develop my skills whenever opportunities arose. Today, I am an independent singer-songwriter based in the United Kingdom, creating original bilingual (Hindi-English) music that brings together storytelling with contemporary pop influences. My work has also been recognised by leading international music publications. My music has been featured in Atwood Magazine, Fame Magazine, Sonic Sisters Magazine, Rolling Hype, The Tribune India, Curious for Music, The Further, Spinex Music and more, reflecting both the originality of my work and its growing international recognition. In addition to receiving editorial recognition, my music has been recognised through several international awards and competitions like InterContinental Music Awards 2026, Global India International Film Festival 2026, Zepstone International Film & Music Festival 2026, reflecting the artistic and lyrical quality of my music. I aim to make a meaningful contribution to the music industry while inspiring others, particularly women from underrepresented backgrounds, to pursue their creative ambitions despite the obstacles they may face.
